MIFA Launches 5th Annual Photography Competition!

Founded in 2014, the MOSCOW INTERNATIONAL FOTO AWARDS’ mission is to recognize, reward and promote talented photographers from around the world and introduce them to the creative community in Russia.
The increase of general interest in photography and fine art makes Moscow a prime location to showcase the work of professional and amateur photographers. MIFA has been reaching the creative community of Moscow for the past 4 years, and has been received with much enthusiasm. The MIFA professional jury select 40 photographers’ work for the annual exhibition, and promoting over 300 winners’ works

Our affiliate competition, Tokyo International Foto Awards exhibits our winners’ work in Tokyo, Japan. Photographers from all corners of the world are encouraged to enter their work.

Moscow International Foto Awards (MIFA) has kicked off its 5th Annual Photography Competition with a call to visionary photographers from around the world, both professional and amateur, to share their unique perspectives on the world with a Russian audience, and compete for international recognition as the next “MIFA Photographer of the Year” (Professional) and “New Talent of the Year” (Non-professional and Student), cash prizes, media exposure, and inclusion in a special curated exhibition to be shown in Moscow.
Over the past 5 years, MIFA has risen to become one of the most prestigious photography competitions in Europe, with hundreds of outstanding entries annually from around the world, making the job of MIFA esteemed Jury a truly challenging one.
The Moscow International Foto Awards jury is made up of international photographers, editors, curators and creatives with a passion for photography. Their mandate is to look at the originality, creativity, excellence of execution, and overall impact of each photograph.
